After 11+ years in BigLaw, I founded Erikson PLLC to offer trademark and copyright services to select clients.
From in-house experience interning at HBO in law school to making partner at a large AmLaw 100 law firm, I've built a career around helping people protect their brands and creative works.
As a trusted advisor from clearance and prosecution to enforcement, licensing, and overall brand strategy, I have served as a counselor managing IP portfolios globally for clients operating across 140+ countries.
Previously, I served as a Senior Research and Conference Fellow at the Fordham IP Institute for Professor Hugh C. Hansen, where my work supported the Fordham IP Conference, sometimes called "the Davos of IP" for its ability to bring together influential intellectual property minds on a first-name basis, including leaders from WIPO, USPTO, U.S. Copyright Office, USTR, and the European Commission, among others.
Early in my career, working with Hugh informed my views on how judges think and how the law works in practice. As a result of this influence and over a decade of experience working with intellectual property issues, I use my background to guide businesses on creative and practical solutions.
With a curiosity about the law, I enjoy regularly speaking on trademark and copyright developments.
